My daughter-in-law asked me if I had ever tried the Faux Cloisonne technique. Since I had not I decided to give it a try. As I was working on some flowers it came to my head to try the techique for shells. I had my SU Seaside set I had not used yet and so I first tried with gold embossing powder and I did not like the effect. So I decided to use Blush Blossom craft ink with clear embossing powder on glossy white paper that had been stippled with Blush Blossom, So Saffron, Groovy Guava and River Rock. I loved the effect on the shells.

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
