This is my submission for C175. What a neat different sketch! Lots of fun, though I will say that I didn't end up anywhere close to where I started out to go!
That being said, I wanted soothing tones and decided to stamp my sentiment on Very Vanilla in Mellow Moss. I had some unknown dp which had this patterned green and a pink on the same sheet, but the design was a beautiful flourish in a circular movement, and I thought that would be awesome for the circle. When I cut the circle, a lot of that movement was lost. I heat embossed in white a flourish on the striped bg, and while it looked great, I felt it needed something so I mounted it on white, still needed something, so I cuttlebugged the layered bg. Then the circles needed something... so I used a small folder and moved it around the circle, and finally I decided I had to be done. The main image is heat embossed in white, sponged with mellow moss pastels and then inked on the edge, and mounted on dimensionals. Pearls were the only embellishment that I felt fit the tone.
I'm sorry, the picture REALLY does not do this one justice!
Hope she likes it! What do you think?
