I had a workshop cancelled on me today (I found out Friday), but I still had a couple of friends who wanted to make a couple of cards. One of my friends, Kate, saw this card by jentimko on SCS:
Kate wanted to make a card using her new set, Boho Backgrounds and so, we decided that the three of us would make this one, using some different colours. Kate's is the card in Certainly Celery, Katrina's is the card using So Saffron and I used Almost Amethyst. My friends chose a different sentiment as well. And we used some of my new 6x6 DSP.
I had to improvise the scalloped circle as I don't have my scallop punch yet. So, we cut out 1/2" circles and made out own scalloped background. We also don't have any markers and so used blender pens and inks to colour the main image. Kate suggested that we use some of the left over 1/2" circles we'd cut for our scallops as a base for our brads on the main part of the card.
I'd love to know what you all think (and so would Kate and Katrina as they've never had a card they've made posted here before!!!!!!!).

I'm sorry your workshop cancelled at such late notice, but it's good that you were able to make cards with friends anyway. All three are very pretty. This set is hopefully arriving in my order this week, so I'll keep this layout in mind.

I think they all look great! I hate when a class cancels, except that then I feel obligated to make all the cards myself later, since they are all "prepped!"
