Here's my card this morning. I was inspired by some old wallpaper we found while gutting out our upstairs over the weekend. For further details on that and to see a couple of more interesting prints, you can view my blog under THIS old house at http://kellyswienton.blogspot.com I even posted a challenge to other stampers, so please feel free to join! :O)
For this card I used Certainly Celery for my base, then a layer of Chocolate Chip, then Very Vanilla. I distressed the edges of the CC and VV pieces to age it a little like the wallpaper. I colored the stamps with Stampin' Write markers and misted with water before stamping. I stamped the Thanks through the torn hole in Chocolate Chip. I tied the Taffeta ribbons through the edge and the torn hole for a little accent and dimension. I paper toled the flower and popped them up on Stampin' dimensionals. I added Crystal Effects to the petals for some shine and added the Hodgepodge Hardware for interest. I took the picture in the sunlight so you could se the shine on the flower. Really nice color combo, thanks!
