I cannot tell you how obsessed I am with 2 things right now...paper pleating and LIQUID APPLIQUE!! Just love that stuff. This card is inspired by my favorite card of all time by Biggan seen here:A piece of cake by Biggan at Splitcoaststampers
I just love Biggan's designs. I think she is one of the most creative and artistic stampers ever! Sometimes I go to my favorites and stare at the wonder of this (and many of her other!) card!! I just love it!! I would kiss it if I could! She even inspired me to go to the stamplegarden website...if I could just figure out how to pay for it, I think the Mailman will be bringing the cake stamp to me soon!! But for now I substituted a pie....paper pleating was inspired by a card in the April/May issue of PaperCrafts Magazine...wish I could credit the exact page and designer but can't find my issue!! I tried to make the pie dish look like that Stengal (spelling?) pottery that I love so much...used divine swirls, sandpaper, and lots of distress inks!!

Knock me over with a feather, this is magnificent. I love Biggan's designs also. Yours is just as appealing. I'm so glad you posted this. The pie plate, that window treatment! the wood trim--just fantastic!

OMG, this is so cool. Awesome design. Love, love, love your shade, yummy pie (looks good enough to eat) and window frame. Perfect combination of papers.

This is simply remarkably outstanding! Love your window Rx! I'll take a slice of that beautiful pie, while I'm at it. This is just one gorgeous card, kelly. Kudos, girl!

Oh my gosh - what a wonderful creation! I LOVE your little pleated shades and the terrific 'cream' topping on your fun pie! what a fun homespun card! I want to whip that pie right off the windowsill!
