This is for the Friday challenge on Sharon Johnson's (notimetostamp) blog -- to use glitter. Take my word, there is glitter on this card though the picture would belie that fact. All of the spots on the large butterfly's wings have stickles on them. IRL they are very sparkly. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am catching up on my challenges for the week. This card also qualifies for Monday's technique challenge -- stacked ribbon. There are two layers of ribbon on this card; a white grosgrain with pink and blue flowers, and organdy ribbon which gives the white a more pinky/mauvey hue -- to complement the large butterfly.
It looked a little bare, so I added the sentiment from Taggers Dozen. I don't have the plain oval nesties yet, so I cut the blue mat with my CM oval cutter template.

Beautiful job Lois! LOVE all the butterflies and I'm sure this is breathtakingly gorgeous IRL! That ribbon is awesome! Now that you mention it, I do believe my card for this challenge also works for the layer ribbon challenge from this week, must go back and edit!
