This is my card for an old color challenge (Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, Tempting Turquoise and Cameo Coral - white is my neutral). I also used Beate's March 28 sketch Blogs at Splitcoaststampers . I really like how it turned out and hope you do, too.
My gnome is stamped onto watercolor paper with Jet Black StazOn and colored with markers and an Aquapainter. I highlighted the speckles with a Stardust Gelly Roll Pen. It's layered on Tempting Turquoise and Certainly Celery cs. I stamped my sentiment with Chocolate Chip ink onto watercolor paper and then stamped the sunflower from this set with once-stamped-off Cameo Coral. It's layered on Cameo Coral. I added the dragonfly charm with a couple of split rings. The bottom of the card base needed something. I didn't want ribbon, so I stamped the mushrooms from this set with Chocolate Chip ink. I love tone-on-tone stamping.
I'm giving this card to a stamping friend who's birthday is Sunday, and I think she'll like it.
