This is my card for SC170. It's even on the right day. Yay! The only recognized cardstock (to me) is Ivory Naturals and is the skinny strip. I couldn't wait to use my new poppy from Stamp Camp. I stamped it on the background with Versamark, then colored it with markers (baroque burgandy and forest foliage), cut it out and popped it up. Edges are distressed and inked with Ranger Distress Tea Dye. Do you not think it's a bit funny that I want ALL my cards to look old and go to extremes to make them so, but do just the opposite to my face! tfl

I'm laughing at your write up - yes, who among us might like to look distress, or shabby chic, or weathered or sanded???? It's a very good question!! You've made me laugh!! But, your card looks fabulous!!! Love that cut out flower - nice work - and your buttons and cording are great!
