It's a Snow day! and I spent the morning stamping. I am in a swap where we are all doing specialty cards, I'm doing acetate. I bought a pack, 100 sheets last year and have only made one, so this was the perfect chance to make use of my purchase. They really are fun to play with.
This first card style is taken from Nichole Heady (you know, the PaperTrey Ink girl) and her blog Capture the Moment. She posted last week about a Clearly Creative Challenge. Check it out here http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capt...y-creativ.html
I used the SU set, A Beautiful Thing and one of my favorite color combos-choc. chip, river rock, and soft sky. While this was fun to make, it wasn't what I wanted to do for my swap. So the next two are samples I'm playing around with. They are all basically the same card, with a few changes.

Love this closure style. I missed that tutorial on Nichole's blog! So hard to figure out how to attach the card to the transparancey without showing glue/adhesive. This is brilliant.
Thanks for the great samples. They are beautiful. And great colors. What are we going to do without River Rock!!?
