I made this album for myself also. Ü Every Mother's Day, after church, my DH takes my boys (9 & 11) to a store to buy me flowers for my flower garden. They get to pick whatever they want for me to plant and then we go out to eat and plant whatever they chose that afternoon. I usually take pictures and thought it would be fun to make an album/journal of this tradition. This album was inspired by Linda Duke's hat card.
I made the frame myself by tracing a slide frame on illustration (mat) board and cutting it out.

Thank you so much everyone! Linda, I absolutely LOVED your hat cards! They were totally awesome. I made one that matches this book and put a tiny bee charm in the rose-looked cute I thought.
Thank you again Lana and Beate for the inspiration for the journals-they are truly addictive!

Gina, you punch holes in the pages and tie the ribbon thru the pages front and back all together. It is amazing how tight it really does hold together.
