This is my first time doing the Featured Stamper Challenge, and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it! Mary Jo is a very talented stamper with a gorgeous gallery of cards! Here is her card that I chose to CASE: farewell girlies by mary jo albright at Splitcoaststampers
Since I don't have scallop punches I left out the scallops, and did the flowers by cutting out each one twice and mounting them one on top of the other. I stamped them with my Rose Red Craft Spot and embossed with Clear Detail, and painted them with Twinkling H2O's. The jeans pocket I did by stamping the Canvas BG and layering up the central seam for added dimension. The little girls I colored with Twinks. too, and gave one of them (ME!) a head full of curly hair with black wire. Yeah, I have very curly hair! (Check out the photo on my public profile to see!)
Finally, I changed the sentiment, (*I must be wonderful to have a friend like you!*) and computer generated it. I saw it somewhere and can't give credit b/c I can't remember where I found it!
Thank you, Mary Jo, for your wonderful and inspiring gallery!
