This is my first attempt at the Target's mailboxes. I give much thanks to Emily Giovanni for her directions and inspiration. I am showing three views of this mailbox filled with goodies that was a Valentine's gift to Ms. Corchado, the Asst Principal of my daughter's school, Bronx Leadership Academy. I decided on a beautiful pink print for her and let the paper guide me to other colors. I must tell you, this 1st try was not easy especially piecing around the dang flag! No half inch punch. I used the main paper to cover the lid’s edge. I let that piece overlap less than 1/16” and used my scoring tool to flatten it to the front of the lid. Then, I placed the lid cover over it. I had to attach a tab at the bottom to keep the lid from slipping off. The other mailbox which I will upload at another time went much better. I am sure to improve with time!

You laughed cause I wanted one of your mailboxes. Oh I would have sent you something in return. Oh well guess it wasn't meant to be. Now I won't need to check for mail each day.
