Unfortunately, I needed a sympathy card last week. I knew I wanted to use the Lovely as a Tree set and realized that this sketch would also fit the bill. This is a VERY simple card, but that's the way I like sympathy cards. I like them serene and understated.
My card base is Basic Black. Panel 2 is Basic Gray. Panel 3 is Cranberry Crisp. I stamped the trees with Basic Black onto Whisper White cs. On a scrap piece of Whisper White, I again stamped the trees. Using a dauber, I rubbed on some orange and yellow chalk and then punched out the circle with my 1 3/8" circle punch. I matched it up on the main panel and adhered it with a Dimensional. I stamped the sentiment with Basic Black ink onto the Cranberry panel.

I have put this in my faves and will case at another time. I love the simplicity and calmness of this card, perfect for a sympathy card. It is always sad to need to make/send a sympthy card- sorry for your loss.
