This is the flip flop book my oldest son and his class put together for their teachers end of the year gift. She loves shoes so thought this would be cute, I had each child trace their foot and draw/write something special about their year of 2nd grade. I also added little phrases and such regarding teachers and little feet. She loved this and cried.

I am making invitations for my daughter's sixteenth birthday out of real flip flops. How did you get the cardstock on the top side of the shoe? I think I am making it harder than it really is.

These are actually pre-decorated so I didn't use any card stock. You might consider, if you want card stock on them to use modge podge, or paint and stamp or even use stickers with modgepodge to seal them. Have fun with your daughters "Sweet 16".
