Created for the technique challenge. First, let me say that this took me waaaaayyyy too long. And, second, although it's not quite what I had envisioned, I love how it turned out. I had this idea on what I wanted to do, but didn't know how to execute it, so I ended up doing a lot of trial and error (mostly error) before figuring it out.
There is no stamping on this. The bottom is made from one folded piece of dp. The post in the center is a piece of copy paper rolled up tight and glued. I used a butterfly punch and all the butterflies have a black bottom layer and red on top. The butterflies on the bowl were punched from dp. Then I cut the wings off and glued them to punched black butterflies. The others are only glued at the body. There are red stickles on the wings and bodies, and the butterflies are attached with mini glue dots. To stabilize the post, I used empty ribbon spools. I used the color spritzer to add color to the white areas.

HOW CUTE!!! Love the butterflies on the "pole". This would be great as is for a deck party, like Maren said, or done in pastels for a baby or bridal shower centerpiece. TFS!!!
