Got my new stars sets from Verve Visual and have been wanting to play, despite needing to finish my Valentine cards. I had this idea for a vellum pocket with a star in it. This is what evolved. I embossed the card front with Nestabilities dies and then cut out a coordinating vellum layer which I shortened to make the pocket. I did a little dry embossing on the scallop edge of the pocket for decoration. I adhered the pocket to the cardstock with silver eyelets. I stamped several of the stars on white cs and then covered with versamark and embossed with Shimmer ep. For the Rose Red layer I sliced the cs with my x-acto knife and slide the rose red through it and out the other side.
I used the set of three little stars for a border on the rose red layer and all around the Blue layer. It seemed to need a little brightening up so I used the white gel pen. The final touch was the little charm made using the small star and a couple of circle punches. I covered with Shimmer ep again and used a jump ring to attach it to the stretchy silver cord.
