There's a reason that the inspiration challenge is called that right? I started this card with the Faux Silk technique because what I remembered from the IC photo was a lot of texture, from there this card morphed into it's own creation! After I finished the focal pieces they just kinda sat there cuz I didn't know how to finish the card. Then I decided what I needed was a larger palette, so I made a 5 x 7 card, the layer under the bird and vines is white c/s that I bayered color onto, then wet with water, and crumpled up! There that covered the whole vintagey feel of the bedding, now how to embellish it? I stamped my sentiment right onto my ribbon, and added "raindrops" to some of the berries and then again below the birdie.
I almost kept going with some brads, but I decided that I liked it like this - TFL

Oh, I have been admiring this set! I like the bird with the vines and the stamped ribbon. It is very "gentle" and perfect for this time of year. (you have been busy!)
