I got some fun paint in the mail today in a blog candy package, so I had to give it a try. It came with a cool heart shaped foam brush, so I stamped hearts on bright pink cardstock. Not being very patient, I decided to use my heat gun to dry the paint, which resulted in the bubbly effect ... one of those happy accidents where I actually love the end result.
The I decided to try a rub-on having no idea if a rub-on would work on top of acrylic paint ... and voila, it did. I love these Monogram Endearment rub-ons. I punched the heart corner punch and colored in the black cardstock using my Sakura glitter pen for a little bling (and to cover up some wayward adhesive that showed through the opening) ... and another valentine was born. Thanks for pushing me to try something new.
