My co-worker asked me to wrap a very late Christmas present for her. I made this gift tag to match the wrapping paper.
I stamped the stocking on watercolour paper with Tim Holtz Antique Linen, and then painted over it. I used two triangular straight-edges to draw the harlequin outlines first, and then watercoloured them in later. I used masking fluid to mask the three stars at the top of the stocking so that I wouldn't have to be careful when painting that part with red paint. Then I used red calligraphy ink with a dip pen to do the faux stitching and the words.
