Thank you Julia, for another great challenge! Today we were challenged to use paint on a card, and I used my Lumiere paints. They are an acrylic paint that have some sort of metallic properties, so they have a real sheen when dry. I painted random strokes onto dark green cardstock, and used that for a background panel.
For the main image, I colored with Tombow Pens and blended with water. Then filled in deeper shadows using Twinkling H2O's. Those are a watercolor paint that have mica dust in them, for a nice sparkly look.
Inside I stamped,... I'm carving our names in the stump of a tree and leaving it for the world to see.
The heart on the tree just says... luvs. I wrote my and my DH's initials above and below the word with a black marker.
The 2 sizes of kisses, three sayings, and beaver stamp all from High Hopes Stamps. TFL!
