| | I had so much fun for this PUNCHie Animals challenge - JAN08VSNG!!!! The challenge was to create an animal or bug using punches.
I looked through my punches and saw my scallop punch and knew immediately I wanted to make a lion!!!
His mane, face, eyes, nose, ears, legs, puff of his tail, puffs on his legs - they are all punches!
I used circle punches for his eyes, body, and face.
The scalloped punch for his mane.
The retired daisy punch (with the petals trimmed off) for his ears and nose.
The retired spring bouquet punch for the puff of his tail and on his feet (the ones on his feet are one flower trimmed in half).
I wished I had the key tag punch for his body, so it could have been longer, but I don't have that and had to settle for a circle.
The sentiment "wild about you" is embossed in gold.
His tail is a piece of mustard grosgrain ribbon and his face is popped up on dimensionals.
I used the Spring Flowers paper in the background because it complemented the Spring Bouquet punches I used.
I sponged the vanilla square in close to cocoa.
Thanks for the challenge! It was so much fun!!! |
