When I saw talk of mask I was taken by to childhood when Mom used to come from taking a shower and her hair would be twisted up in a towel on her head and her face would be covered with avocado. I remember the weekend she put some on me as an early teen when the hormones kicked in and a few zits came about. In memory of the avocado color I chose green for my masking project. I mask off the "frame" using Post It notes, embossed my image in white, and then sponged color around it, lighter in the middle, darker around the edges, to create the effect I wanted. The sentiment stamp was perfect. I didn't like the zits but their coming into my life gave me a moment with Mom I fondly recall. Avocado mask, Mom, and Me - one of life's cherished bonding moments I'm thankful for!

What an incredible story. You and your mother will always have that precious memory. You should send her this card and let her know you were thinking of her.
