I know . . . original title, huh? I couldn't think of anything. Anyway . . . I made this card for a fellow church member yesterday and did not have time to upload it. I really think it turned out very nice, and I have a second one (duplicate) half finished, because I like that one so much. The horse was stamped on a piece of tan cs that I had distressed by crinkling it up and then flattening it back out, ironed, then rubbed creamy caramel over the creased parts. The horse was then stamped on with chocolate chip. It was then layered on a piece of cs with faux suede, then black cs. The card base was covered with old olive and chocolate chip (old olive looks brighter in the picture). The seam of the two cs colors was covered with twine, then the horse silhouette was stamped on in black in the bottom right hand corner, and versamarked over the entire card base as well. I thought it needed a few brads in the upper right corner and . . .
not sure if everyone knew this trick, but it just hit me (as I can never get my brads to line up perfectly or they are too close together, but if you use the hole piercing kit, line up the line with the edge of your paper, come in 2 rows of holes, and then mark them every other hole, my brads fit perfectly, and I think that was the first time I have ever gotten the perfectly straight. Wow, I thought that was a smart idea, wish I had thought of it long ago. (probably the last one to think of it, but . . . oh well threw it out there in case anybody else has problems with theirs).
