This is for CC147, Taken With Teal, Certainly Celery, and Real Red. I should be ashamed to post this...that is all I can say!
I woke up ready to make a New Year's Day card to take to a party today. When I saw the colors I knew there was no way I would make them work as a New Year's card. So I opted for a Valentine.
OMG! I don't know what I was thinking! The more I did, the worse it got! I am not much of a heart person, so I don't really have any sets of hearts. I used the Pick a Petal set for the hearts. I like the hearts, but that is it for this card.
So you may ask, "why are you posting this?". The answer is, "I'm not really sure!". I hope this card isn't an indication of what my stamping will be like for 2008!
Off to make another card. A New Year's card and hopefully it won't suck!

I think this card is adorable...I never would have thought to use the petals for hearts. Great idea! Your "embarrassing" card is better than a lot of my "really good" cards!

Great idea about using the Pick a Petal set for hearts. I have that set (which I don't think has seen ink yet!) Like the BG DP and the crisscross ribbon!

Okay, don't know what you think is so terrible about this...I thinit turned out great. Love the petals as hearts(plan to try that myself). Fun background and ribbon treatment.
