I wanted to CASE it using today's Color Combination challenge. Unfortunately, I don't have Basic Grey or Bashful Blue cardstocks, so I substituted with Going Grey and Bliss Blue instead. If this is not allowed, please let me know, and I will gladly remove it from the CC gallery.
I don't have the Botanicals set that Beverly used on her card, but I looked through my collection of nature stamps and found this heart-shaped skeleton leaf from the SU set called Autumn. I really liked the gold embossing on Beverly's card, so I stuck with that. As I was putting the card together, it seemed that these colors were alittle on the masculine side, with grey in the combo. That and the heart-shaped leaf made me think Key to my Heart, and I knew I had some keys and hearts in my stash of embellishments. I printed out "You're the key to my heart..." and placed on a certainly celery/grey block for the inside. I know its alittle bit of a stretch, and the colors are not "Valentine", but think this may be Hubby's Valentine card if gallery viewers don't think it's too girly or unconventional. Let me know what you think - thanks!!!
Thank you to Beth and Emily for the Challenges, and a big congrats to Beverly for being FS this week!
