This is a couple days late, since the first run didn't turn out so well. The inspiration challenge was for a gorgeous tapestry jacket posted here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I looked at it for a minute and knew exactly what I was going to do. I created this card using the Joseph's Coat technique featured in the tutorials here: Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers I sponged on my colours, then embossed in clear, then brayered in Black wiping off the excess ink. I did find the the black stained the clear embossing somewhat, but black was necessary for this challenge. As with most of my attempts at the Inspiration Challenge, my take is very literal. I also had in mind who I was creating this for from the RAK forum: Forums at Splitcoaststampers 10 yo Olivia has lost her mother to breast cancer. I have a 10 dd myself, and would hate to leave her, and dd said this card was *awesome*! So I hope it will make Olivia smile too. I'm working on a card for her brother as well.
