I used staz-on ink to stamp the images, and then I used sponge daubers and eye-shadow applicators to apply craft ink for coloring. I baked it at 375 for 25 minutes and the ink is not rubbing off with a damp paper towel (it did on the first coaster (bluish-tint one) when I baked it at just 250 for 25 minutes). It may have been that I didn't wait for it to cool before wiping it though (I'm not very patient). I allowed the second one (sunset look) to cool completely before wiping.
I just love the sentiment in this set. I'm going to give one of these coasters to our church pastor.

The craft inks didn't work for me either, when baked at the lower temperature of 250. They rubbed off. But when I baked them at 375 for 25 minutes it worked great. I didn't have any trouble with the ink rubbing off. Be sure to let it cool completely before wiping with a damp paper towel to check the ink.
P.S. Someone who used Staz-On for coloring wrote to me and said that the olive colored ink turned to a bluish-gray color when they baked them, so that's why I went with the craft ink.
