This birthday card for my son, Kevin, makes me smile. I think itÂ’s because I finally got it out of my head where itÂ’s been living for weeks and onto paper! I knew a vehicular card of some kind would be best for him. Someone gave him a 1975 Cadillac which is slightly smaller than the Queen Mary but not as maneuverable. He calls it his hobby car; I call it a 2-ton lawn jockey.
Anyway, I used lots of layering, EP, glitter and Crystal Effects on this card. The truckÂ’s fenders, tires, and even hubcabs are separate layers for depth. The letters of his name were embossed with my Cuttlebug before they were die cut.

Wow Donna! This is one awesome card. I really love the way the letters (KEVIN) turned out. You've got to tell me where you got those screw brads. A masterpiece as usual.

I love your creations. This is a fantastic card. I've made a few cards with this set and was never satisfied. Now I know why ... it needs layering!!!
I love your color choices too.
