I am so excited about this recent swap I hosted called "Bits-n-Pieces"! I had 12 WONDERFUL swappers participate in this swap with me! We were all to make 3x3 squares, using any kind of bits-n-pieces and the theme was "Shabby Chic"! The whole ideal, was to have a finished project, that we could display and show off everyones BEAUTIFUL art! Now, I finally have something so AMAZING to hang on my wall! You ladies really impressed me and I can't but help.....keep looking at it! I LOVE IT and I hope you all....are as happy as I am....with the final piece!
I bought a 11x14 canvas and painted it a Mellow Moss color. I sponged for a distressed look with Close to Cocoa. I then stamp all around the edges with a stamp from "Priceless". And I think it turn out just BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Simply wonderful, congratulations Carrie! Beautiful work all! I had suggested a four seasone swap to Carrie, the same concept, only there would be four hangings when complete. If anyone has any interest in this, let me know! :-)
