The squadron my husband was in up until August is now deployed somewhere in the Middle East, and so I decided to send some cookies to one of his friends out there. Last year I sent a gazillion cookies to my husband and he said the rest of the squadron really liked them, so this year I'm going to do the same thing.
Due to a joke between my hubby and his friend Mangler I was told that I had to make a French themed card to send with the cookies. So here it is. Very quick and easy unless you keep getting black smudges on the white cardstock and you have to do it three times until you get a non-smudgy piece. Not that I would know anything about that. I made the card front look like the French flag and then mounted it on yellow cardstock, since yellow is the squadron color. Plus there are older French flags that had yellow on them, so it's, like, historical. Or something.
