Yes, that was my then 16 year old son's New Year's Resolution this past New Years - and he has stuck to it without complaint. sigh.
I wasn't sure if I was going to do the LSC - but then I opened the pantry to give the dog a treat - and there I was cofronted with Lentil Soup, Navy Beans, wild brown rice... well, you get the idea. In the fridge lie all sorts of healthy things - soy chicken, soy ham - non fat this , non fat that. You get the picture.
Suddenly my card popped into my mind! Yes! I was going to use my health food stamp for my central image. For brads I stole 4 of my sons dried peas... Then I thought - what for the background??? Well, I mixed up dried peas - yellow and green plus organic oats, and wild brown rice. I then coated a large part of my cardstock with crystal laquer and poured on my healthy background that I created. Took quite a while to dry. I used a cut out portion of soy meat chicken for my banner. I ate some chocolate ice cream while I waited for the crystal laquer to dry..Thanks for looking!

Deborah, you have got to win the *most creative* mom of the year award - when he wants lunch, tell him to eat the card! This is soooo stinkin' cute! A+++++++++

Deborah, this is just fabulous! Look at those faux brads, we actually pay a lot of money for the real deal and could be using split peas! I love the items you used, the sentiment, the packaging and the awesome image. Well done girl!
