Our son Joel ordered a special beer for me one evening while we were out having dinner, and it came with the white schalloped coaster and the Stella Artois on top of the stem base of the glass. Well, before the meal was finished I proceeded to remove the coaster and stem paper and put it into my purse. Needless to say, Joel was rather embarrassed. "Mom - what are you doing?" I smiled and said "you never know when I might want to use it." Well, this is perfect timing, I am going back to Edmonton for the last time for my job and Joel and I are meeting for a quick coffee and I am going to give him this card. Becuase, who else would ever understand why you would put a beer coaster and stem paper on a card. And, it is just perfect for this challenge.
Base card is not quite navy, with old olive and ruby red. Made paper knots out of scraps with ruby red, ballet blue and not quite navy.
Thanks,
Note:
Met with Joel and he just loved it!!!!! woohoo!

Great story to go with a wonderful card Kathleen! My hubby actually filled my purse with coasters at Chili's a while back when I mentioned what I could use them for!
