For this challenge Michelle wanted us to *Make like a tree and leave* and create a card with a goodby theme. Since she stated that sympathy cards also fit in here, I opted to make one. This way if the occasion is needed I have one ready. This also fits into LSC132.
I started with my flower image which I found in my stash and built from there. I also found the Cool Carribean oval in my stash and my card was born!!
I kept this fairly simple since it is a Sympathy card which also limited my embellies. I've wanted to do the oval hinges for awhile and just haven't tried them until this card. I think they add just the right touch. I did dry embossing with my Crop-A-Dile around the largest oval on the smallest eyelet setter. It made hard to see since I didn't want to squeeze to hard and go through my cardstock.
Thanks Michelle for a great challenge!!
TFL!!
