Okay this is my sympathy card for todayÂ’s challenge. I looked and looked and had no traditional sympathy stamps (maybe I need to get some) However, you need all kinds of sympathy when your husband or family member deploys, along with the unmentionable sympathy of losing a soldier. As a military wife we have so many friends and two brothers deployed. My husband doesnÂ’t love the flower with the soldier but hey it's part of the challenge. The soldier is the background and the flower is Doodle This (again) with the yellow support ribbons made into petals. The medal at the bottom is from the jumbo wheel.

I love this card! My son is in Special Forces and I have to worry about him every day like all other military wives, moms, dads, etc. Your card is fabulous. I have been needing ideas for cards to send to my son. Unfortunately SU does not have very many options for Army stamps. If you or anyone else knows of a company that makes them, I sure would appreciate some help. Thanks soooooooo much for sharing your challenge....... Kat

What a beautiful card. I love that you embossed it in gold, it is very dramatic. Unfortunately, being married to a US Marine, I know all too well the need for sympathy cards for our brave men and women in the armed services. We know too many people that have either lost their lives or been injured. thanks so much for sharing!

This is a very unique card. I like how the image is raised to bring out the detail. Let your husband and brothers know that our prayers are with all over our troops, and our gratitude is with them as well.
