A customer asked to come over to make bridal shower invitations for one of her friends. I took out everything I own that had hearts or flowers and if it was black, red, or white it came out too (that was the bride's color theme).
My customer (who also works with my DH) came up with this design. She also provided the cardstock for the base and the sentiment. I was happy to provide a little bit of red and black cardstock, some ink and some punches.
The heart-shaped punches are by McGill. The square-steps corner punch (used to layer one heart with the other) is by SU but was recently retired. We also used a mini glue dot to be sure the small heart stayed atop the large one during handling.
The bottom is the decorated with the retired Jumbo wheel, Adoring Hearts, and a Real Red jumbo ink cartridge.
It was a quick, easy, and elegant design.
