Today's challenge from Sara was to make a summer card. I always think of being in or on the water when I think of summer. I took a white card and used a paper towel to sponge light blue ink on for the sky. I cut out a panel of the dp, following the curve to look like waves, and mounted to the card. I cut the boat shapes from cardstock and assembled as shown, then stamped the sails with Versamark and the boat with brown. I cut a ribbon flag and taped to the back of the mast. I attached it to the waves with foam tape. I covered the boat with a scrap of paper and stamped the sentiment onto the sky.

Cute use of this wavy paper. That little sailboat so calm and serene would make for a wonderful day.
