I decided that Mom needed all out for Mother's Day and I chose one of her favorite decorating accent areas of interest. Black textured cardstock made up the base card. Thick handmade natural ivory paper was stamped with SU! Heiroglyphics in black. The cut edges was wetted and pulled away for a natural look. An image of King Tut was stamped on gold high gloss paper with black craft ink. Areas were marked with Versamarrk pen and head embossed with blue EP. It and the next area were matted in black. The lower area had gold threaded mulberry paper wetted and pulled, as before, and added to it. Metallic gold ribbon was threaded through the cardstock on both sides after a blue and gold bead was added to the center area. Stamped cartouches were stamped embossed with gold and blue and then added after trimming. The inside was also embellished with black matted images of Queen Nefretiti, cartouches, an eagle god, and a water hyacynth motif. This was a really fun card that a lot of thought time went into. Mom loved it, by the way! TFL!!!
