I believe that my inspiration took on it's own direction at some point. I was inspired by the script on the 12 days of christmas plates and that led me to the believe from Tres Chic. Well, do you believe in partridges, or ladies dancing or maids a milking? I don't have any of those stamps anyway, but I do believe in Santa. You can play along, the details can be seen here: Holiday Plates

Neat card-like the colors you used. Santa has a perplexed look like -what am I doing here in July?? Made me smile-I love santa and collect old world looking santa figures that I put on display at Christmas.
Is the flourish around the sentiment stamp part of it, or did you add them? Either way I really like it!

Thanks for the explanation - I love seeing how it only takes one little detail to inspire a card. Love the double ribbon and eyelet groups. Cute card! Thanks for playing!

*Believe* is the key, and your card is wonderful. Love the designer paper and the Santa as the focal point.
