This card is for the Featured Stamper FS23, Cindy Mothermark, aka Motherway. She is an inspiration to me. She always seems to come up with cards and a story that are phenomenal. I love all her cards and had a very hard time finding one to case that was in my league. I found this card that I thought I could work with. Buzzin' Bees by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
I had bought the background sheets to make a few western cards and decided to use it for this challenge. I used the star brads because there are designs that look like stars on the DS paper and I had the same colors that would match the paper. I had a difficult time getting the squares to fit like hers but I think they are close enough. I had a larger stamp with the horse and thought he would work well for the center image. Then on the plaid DS square I stamped Howdy Partner with black Stazon.

What a fun card! You made wonderful choices in your paper, bandana prints and gingham check. It coordinates so well with your perfectly colored image of the horse and the star shaped brads. Thank you so much for the kind words mentioned here and the time you spent in my gallery. You went quite a ways back....Yikes! Your card is wonderful and I am glad we got the opportunity to see it!

Love all the layering! Awesome coloring for the horse and the eyelets are the perfect touch!
