OH how I loathe this work!!! I have inherited this room as our eldest son, 22 1/2 , moved out in mid June . I have now moved beyond the stamps into ..sigh...the embellishments . My husband says I have enough inventory to open my own rubber stamping store. Sigh. There will be no co ordinating dots, or beautiful storage etc etc. I will be more than happy to get it all just labeled and into my shelving units. ( Most are from Ikea - not this dreadful bunch of plastic units- they will go back on the shelves).
Meantime I have told myself I cannot make a card until I am done with this dreadful task....We'll see if I am that disciplined....come on over and give me a hand!!!!
Deborah!

I can feel your pain! LOL I have a little nook area for all of my stuff and since I continue buying, I have run out of space but have no place to go, so I just have to keep rearranging. It's getting confusing for me since I get used to things in one place and then when they move...
So... I'll have to get better at labeling my drawers and shelves! Looks like you're going to have a SWEET set-up when you're through. It will be worth it! Good luck!

Where abouts do you live? I am in Michigan, 45 mins from detroit. LOL. I did not make a single card either, until I had my sets somewhat labeled, old sets moved to bedroom, and paper more organized. BUT, it was worth it! Hang in there...I'd love to come help you if I could.....

Baby steps and it'll get there! Just recently "finished" organizing my new room since my daughter moved out. I am happy to say what I have in here is organized and I can find what I need. Even though I do now find that I have several duplicates of many things I collected over years of being unorganized!

I have a good idea...ship it all to me and I'll organize it here and save you the trouble. BUT...I see a couple I already have so I won't need the map and swirls backgrounds in that center container but I'll take the container!
To bad you aren't closer I love to organize almost as much as stamping...another good point of interest...my stamp room could sure use it right now so when you're done could you come here and help me!

Every time I see one of our fellow stampers organizing their stamps... it makes me smile.
I don't think any of us realize how much" inventory" we have until we start organizing or rearranging it.
