My friends Yorkie has a hairline hip fracture. As a fellow Terrier( border ) owner and lover, I made her this card to cheer her up.
I stamped the image on card stock, cut it out, and placed it on SU cardstock that I had washed with SU carmel inker mixed with water to make the background colour. The dog's head , flower& stem are on pop ups, as is the pop pom. I used glossy accents on the white polka dots, the dog's nose, eyes, pink ears bits, the flower etc and the pom pom to give them a little more dimension. Used a corner rounder on the outside of the the card ( it is a square 5 1/2 by 5 1/2 and also on the paper I used for the layout. Thanks for looking!

This is so cute. I have the stamp, but never thought of popping up the head. Will have to keep that in mind for future use. Thanks for the idea. (proud parent of two terriers - Jack Russell and a Yorkie) linda

Can I just say...AWWWWWW! Too cute for words. This little guy and your treatment is just fabulous. What a good friend you are to support your friend during a difficult time. Thanks for all the details on how you did the card too. U-Rock.

The doggie looks guilty and cute at the same time. Good job - I hope that your friends Yorkie is doing OK.
