A huge thanks to laurakj for bailing me out of a creative mess on this card!! It just wasn't coming together. So I sent her pics and we talked it over and came up with this! *whew*
The Cuttlebugged "thanks" was the starting point for the card. It's Au Chocolate paper glued to chipboard and sponged with Cool Caribbean ink. The one-sheet-wonder-esque strip was speckled w/ Chocolate Chip ink (at laurakj's suggestion). Then to ground the focal image I punched some Certainly Celery circles and added some antique brass brads (who knew they match Chocolate Chip perfectly!?) to the centers. It seems strange to me that the card base is plain, but I think it works.

Love your layout and the extra details on the card. I was trying to figure out how the Cuttlebugged Thanks got to be the way it was, and you explained it. Neat idea to add another color to dp!

Love the thanks!!! I wish I had bought some of that paper before it retired... oh well there's only so much I can afford. Great job and thanks for the step-by-step, so I can copy you now!
