This is for SC131 and it's the first SC I have been able to do for a while. I love off work holidays. This little Zoofari set is so adorable and lends itself to scenes for me. This little leopard is darling and I thought he would make a cute focus on my main image. I masked off watercolor paper in a square with Post-Its to create my scene. I stamped my image and maksed him off so I could stipple and ponge on my ground, sky and water area. I used a dry brush to stipple apply the ground and a sponge to apply the water and sky. I hand painted in the the tree trunks with caramel and then used my mini fern stamp to create the ground texture and leaves for the trees. The main image is done on watercolor paper but the bg is done on banana cardstock. I don't often try to paint on colored cs but I really like the effect. The banana matches so well with the new In Colors. I am in love with river rock. Go figure!!! When I first saw it in the preview I thought....Oh....another sahara sand. Why do we need that??? I love soft sky, too but must say it is more of a water color to me than sky. Great sketch, Roxie!!!

Oh, Kittie! This is so wonderful. You put so much work into your little scenes, and they are all marvelous. This is another example of your artistic ability and I thank you for sharing.
