This is for CC121 to use Choc Chip, Olive and Pretty in Pink. I added Caramel, Caribbean and Barely Banana to complete this fun little night time beach scene. I have fallen in love with My Favorite Things July set of the month-Hit the Beach and have been having fun coming up with different beach scenes. I painted the water with Caribbean and the sand area with Caramel reinkers and water and a large flat brush. I cut two different levels of dunes and popped one up to add dimension. I cut some little slivers of olive green to look like sea grass. I painted the suits and flip flops and cut them out to pop them up on the shore. I dabbed Liquid Applique' along the water's edge and patted it lightly with my finger to get rid of the dreaded blob bubbles before I heated. It gives the foamy look of the waves washing up on shore. I used a glue pad and a bg stamp to create the sky on the Chocolate sky line and used dazzling diamond to makes the sky sparkly with stars. I cut a circle out of shimmery white cardstock and used the glue pad and dazzling diamond to create the shimmery moon and then used my deckle scissors to cut it out.
