This is my tribute card that I will be mailing to Markie's Mom since she is today's Featured Stamper. Wonderful gallery, wonderful stamper!!
Here is the card I cased:
1. Okay, I was bound and determined to make a pirate ship. The only draw back? No pirate stamps whatsoever! Arrrrgh!
2. Using the horizontal slot punch, I punched out all those little do-dads and glued them on the boat separately. Arrrrgh!
3. There comes a time with certain cards that the stamper is no longer in control. This was one of those cards. Arrrrgh!
4. It's plain to see whose in control here, the boat! I was not driving the bus, the boat was driving the bus! Arrrrgh!
4. This card ended up being 6 X 6 (well.....plus whatever is sticking out over the top!) because I was not in control. I fought long and hard to get Markie's Mom's layout of the card I cased in....see it, it's there, it's under the boat, the boat that's in control! Arrrrgh!
5. It was my destiny to make this card for Faith. Yesterday at Walmart I found this cute little rhinestone skull and crossbones, my first thought was, someday this will come in handy. I bought it cuz yesterday I was in control! Used it the next day! How cool is that!
Arrrrgh! Arrrrgh! Arrrrgh! Arrrrgh!

LMBO Cindy! Faith will appreciate your card and the story behind the making. I must confess, I had to go look at the card you *cased* twice to see the similarities, but they are there! Love the skull charm too. Good insight!

Well, blow me down, matey! This be a fine pirate's ship---aaarrggh!! One that I'm sure Captain Faith will be most pleased to receive.
Have I told you lately how awesome you are in creating these darling cards for the featured stamper each week? This is amazingly detailed, Cindy, and I give you the ship captain's highest award for gluing all those little slot punch pieces onto the ship (crazy? yes! but I know how driven you are). The dry embossing on the ship's sails be a fine touch, too!
