Today its alleys and walled lanes are packed with small museums and historic sights, including KingÂ’s Square, where cedar replicas of the stocks, pillory, and ducking stool once used to punish criminals now serve as props. Not only does St. GeorgeÂ’s have rich history and beautiful beaches, it also has become a modern day city with current amenities such as cell phones and internet. Looking out over the city from the cruise ship all you see is a sea of tropical colors from the buildings. The beauty and cleanliness of the island is so inviting.
