Not satisfied with my options for blue ink and dp, I decided to use lavender and purple colors for a baby boy card. It was an interesting process of trying one thing and deciding on another and trying to figure out ways to fill space and make it all coordinate. All in all, a fun card to make.

Jeani, you just never know what direction a card will take. I think you really ended up with a very sweet, creative and very special baby card. I love the BG design, layers behind your main image, punched flowers, ribbon, brads and tag. A card that will be treasured. TFS
This is really a wonderful baby card, Jeani! I love how you framed the rattle and the punched flower at the end of the ribbon is very nice! I really like the double oval over the ribbon, too! It looks to me like you filled the space beautifully!

Yes, the creative process is what's so fun about this. You had a great idea for the matting of your image to fill up that space. Very creative thinking! Cute baby card! Someday I'll use this image...
