This is for the CC112, to do a card in all pink tones, to give our support to the Avon Breast Cancer walk. Tina of High Hopes designed this teddy bear stamp, "Bee Keeper Charles" (in this case, with pink overalls, I'm calling it "Charlotte"!...such a cutie!). She also has a stamp in her catty, "Sunny Days Ahead" and all the profits go to support cancer research. That stamp can be found on her website in the catalogue (type in "cancer" and click the "go" hippo).
I used Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol for the bear and bees. Thre are sparkles (Acrylic Glitter Glaze) on the bees' wings and the flower in her hat, and pocket of her overalls, but the photo doesn't show it well.
I sanded the bg panels for added texture. I made the circles for the bee with my Fiskar's shape cutter and template. The dots on that are black gel pen.
I made the tab with a thin strip of cs and a small corner rounder punch.
I sewed the black thread with my sewing machine (little did I know I would ever use that machine for cards!) and hand sewed on the button.
The large panel is mounted on foam tape as with all the hardware in behind, I didn't think it would lay flat enough to glue.
A truly inspirational challenge today, Emily, thank you!
