Hi. The direct to paper technique can cover a very broad spectrum, but in my card I simply ran the edges of my card stock over creamy caramel and the insides of the background paper with various other colors to give it an antique look. You can lay your paper down and drag it across the pad or simply tap your fingers lightly to firmly to get totally different looks. I've seen complete backgrounds created using the direct to paper technique. It is fun. Something to experiment with. HTH. -Marie
this is one of those cards you can keep looking at over and over and still see something you didn't see before. Love the way the colors of the balloons tie with the saying...I wouldn't have guessed one little bear could be so interesting!
