Do you ever find yourself gazing longingly at beautiful 12x12 scrapbook papers and wonder, how will I ever incorporate that BIG image or pattern into my card? The design of this card is a great example for me to share what I do. Take a look again at the Always paper the heart image came from. Of course it would not be possible to cut rectangles or squares out of this paper, without ruining some of those great images. If you are drawn to asymmetrical patterned papers, think about how you can take the large images or focal points and show them off. I am finding that I just need to get out of the way and let the image do it's thang!
I am seriously in love with Prism card stock. Let me tell you why: 1) It's such a pleasure to be able to add some texture to a card without having to stamp it 2) it has an smooth side perfect for stamping on 3) it's dyed all the way through 4) it comes in hundreds of colors!
There is nothing easier than adding an entire line of bling to a project than with the A Muse Twinkle stickers. Just lift one end of the line off the sheet with a blade. The entire row stays together and then you can press it to paper. Easy peasy!
Texture is hot, especially velvet and I love incorporating into my designs whenever I can. I used the Create-A-Cut scallop blade to create the border along the top left opening of the card.
Last but not least is the fabulous stamped sentiment. I find myself reaching for this set by Art Declassified a lot. I think it's the mixture of upper/lower case and the formal font that lends itself well to a variety of projects. And...I find myself becoming fond of any new designs created with red rubber. It's a cool new company, so head on over and check them out. www.artdeclassified.com

Really nice! Love the suede CS! I am a big fan of the suede papers. I have a bunch of K and Company's. Thanks for all of the info also. Nothing like searching for how things were done. The heart on the paper is just gorgeus! TFS
